STORY OF GOOD NEWWZ MOVIE
Movie Starts Akshay Kumar as
a Varun Batra he is the CEO of a Volkswagen showroom in Mumbai. He and his wife
Deepti Batra are a happy married couple for seven years. However, they struggle
to conceive a child. Varun's sister Richa suggests the couple meet with reputed
fertility specialist Anand Joshi Dr., who suggests that they perform in vitro
fertilization , a reproductive technique that will increase their chances.
They agree,Varun presents
sperm samples, and the doctor places Varuna's sperm in Anand Deepu's fetus. 12
days later, Varun and Deepu find Haste's wife Dr. Sandhya Joshi called. Here,
Varun and Dipu encounter another Batra couple, Honey Batra (Daljeet Singh) and
Monika "Moni" Batra, a couple from Chandigarh who have also taken
IVF. Anand clearly reveals that a sperm mixture has taken place: Varuna's sperm
has been mixed with Moni's egg and Honey's sperm Deepu's eggs.
Beyond
belief, both couples attack two doctors. Doctors suggest that couples go for a
short procedure, so there is no chance of pregnancy. Varun later reveals to
Honey that Moni is pregnant with Varun's child, but due to his rudeness, Honey
fears losing her own child as Deepu too becomes pregnant.
He
vows to stop the miscarriage on Deepu's part, and he and Moni rent an apartment
above Varun and Deepu, which is far from the couple's shock. specially
since Deepu is not carrying his child. Deepu takes a stand, telling Varun that
he never tried to understand or care what he was doing after all this. Honey
and Varun start bonding at once until Honey expresses concern over Deepu's work
commitments, which she feels will have a negative impact on the child. Varun,
provoked, tells Honey to discuss, and the mood quickly ends the affair. Till
the storm of Varun arrives and Honey is not arrested, an argument continues
between the two. That night, Deepti knocks on Deepu's door in frustration.
She
went into premature delivery and Honey was nowhere to be found. Varun rushes
Moni to the hospital and she gives birth. However, the newborn is transferred
to a critical unit in critical condition, born with a respiratory defect,
exacerbated by Moni's history of miscarriage, with little chance of survival.
As it hits her that the baby is actually hers, Varun starts crying and hugs
Honey when Honey arrives. Varun goes home and breaks into Deepu's arms,
apologizing for his past behavior. For a few weeks, both couples pray for the
baby to recover and Moni remains in the hospital. The child finally recovers
and Deepu gets a successful delivery as well. Varun, now a changed man, invites
Honey and Moni to meet the child. The two couples finally bond and accept each
other, holding each other's children in their arms.
